Your email address

First of all: your email address is NEVER sold or given to third parties for any purpose. Purchasing requires the use of an email address which is stored by both the website and the payment processor (PayPal or Stripe) for communication purposes. By purchasing the program you agree to receive automated and non-automated messages from the author about AutoSplitter or related products. You can opt out of automated messages anytime via your Customer Care Center (link included in your purchase confirmation).

AutoSplitter.com Website

Access to the website is logged for monitoring web traffic, referrals and download statistics. Website access data is not disclosed to third parties. The website is hosted by a US-based provider and served over HTTPS. The site uses Google Analytics to collect usage statistics. AutoSplitter.com does not employ cookies other than short-lived session cookies.

AutoSplitter software & installer

AutoSplitter is a Windows executable and does not record personal data about you. The software keeps local, non-identifying usage counters in an .ini file to improve tutorial experience; this data never leaves your computer. Upon uninstallation an optional feedback form may open; replies are stored anonymously for statistical purposes. The software is digitally signed to ensure authenticity. AutoSplitter is DRM-free — no tracking or anti-piracy measures are built into the product.

Payment processors (PayPal & Stripe)

Licenses are purchased through a third-party payment processor which collects payment and personal data necessary for the purchase. Upon purchase, your email address and billing information provided to the processor may be copied into the AutoSplitter database to support licensing, invoicing and statistics. AutoSplitter never receives raw payment card data; that information remains with the payment processor.
