Application hangs after I click Scan

Hello. I just purchased the application today. I was able to perform one scan with it. When I went to perform the next scan, the application became unresonsive, and I had to stop by process with Task Manager. I've restarted the application and the scanner with no resolution. Thank you.

Hello Dave. I'm sorry about this problem. Please do these:
1) reboot your computer
2) see the small black triangle under the Scan button - you can access the scanner selection dialog there. See if you have multiple entries for the scanner - usually there should be a WIA and a TWAIN entry, try both.
3) update your scanner driver from the manufacturer's website.
