refusing to save

Could not save file Isobel 01.jpg! (GDI)+ Error) Win32 Error: The system cannot find the path specified

This is the message I get, the ! is part of the message

I have changed nothing about what I am doing but the program has stopped obliging

Where do I go from here please?

I have scanned a large number of pictures without trouble and changed nothing between the last one that worked and this one. I’ve tried the online help and rebooted the PC.

Hello Judith. Unfortunately the reason of this error is unknown. What happens if you try to save a different file format, for example TIF?
