need to edit captions on pics already saved

We've scanned pictures and added captions, then saved. Afterwards, noticed some pics had incorrect comments in caption and wanted to change. Brought picture from saved file, tried the add caption box, but would not override saved caption. We have other pics to correct.

Hello Rebeca. Unfortunately the program was not designed to edit images. You can solve this problem in 3 ways:
1) scan these images again and save with a different caption
2) use an image editor software to replace the caption
3) use an image editor software to crop the photo and exclude the caption. Then you can open the captionless image with Autosplitter and save it again with a different caption.
Irfanview is a free image editor software that can crop the image easily.
