How can i edit the caption after a photo has been saved to my PC

I put wrong name to photo and need to correct it, is there away to do this without having to delete and rescan etc,

Thanks for your question. The caption printed on the image cannot be changed without a photo editor software or rescanning the photo.
If you want to change the caption stored in the metadata, you can change it with Windows by right clicking the image. Properties / Details tab / Title.
