What am I doing wrong? Auto Splitter

Why after scanning photos, does it say No Photos Detected? I purchased this software so I could auto split my photos without manually having to do so.

Thanks for your feedback. The main problem is that there is no uniformly white background behind these photos. Is that black surface the scanner's lid? Scanners generally have a white panel to cover the lid. Can you add something white behind the photos, for example a thick sheet of paper? That should do the trick.
If that black surface is a photo album, then there is probably no other easy way but to use the 4 corners trick, see this description.
