Is it possible to remove or edit captions on the picture?

I probably should have thought of this before I started using captions. I've decided that I need to edit some captions I've used. I thought I could get at them with an EXIF editor. I don't seem to be able to. Is there a way to remove or edit them.

Thanks for your question. The caption printed on the image cannot be changed without a photo editor software or rescanning the photo.
If you want to change the caption stored in the metadata (exif), you can change it with Windows by right clicking the image. Properties / Details tab / Title.
